How the Mariners Hit a Home Run Selling Tickets with Costco
Earlier this year, FEVO announced a distribution partnership with Costco, one of the largest retailers in the world. With the new opportunity came an influx of excited partners. First up, the Seattle Mariners. Truth-be-told, a Costco-Mariners joint venture was inevitable. Both Seattle-based and PNW proud, the question wasn’t when the companies would work together, but how. FEVO was happy to bridge the gap.
Through launching their Costco offer with FEVO, the Mariners were able to connect with an entirely new segment of affluent buyers, grow awareness for their newest premium products and see their Season Ticket Member conversion rates reach all-time highs.
The numbers speak for themselves here. FEVO stepped in to liaise between parties, sort out inventory and build, and design in-warehouse assets — so with only a minimum amount of marketing, the Mariner's ROI on this project has surpassed many of their more traditional efforts to engage new buyer segments.
