For our October webinar, FEVOforum Presents: Black Friday and Cyber Monday Playbook, we focused on the holiday sales season. FEVO VP of Partner Success Alissa Persichetti was joined by Notre Dame Sr. Associate Athletic Director of Business Innovation & Revenue Generation Patrick Nowlin, and Minnesota Wild Sr. Manager of B2C Marketing Kathryn Vannelli showcased successful holiday sales strategies and marketing initiatives to get the most out of Black Friday. Plus, we learned from FEVO Sr. Manager of Marketing Services Matt Barall and Laylo VP of Partnerships Stephanie Allen how our new integration can help boost revenue!

5 KEY LEARNINGS

Start Early
  • Black Friday Deals are starting earlier than ever — some major retailers have already begun their holiday-sales campaigns. So, if you don't have a plan in place already, get started NOW!

Set Goals, Create Timelines, and Stick to Them
  • It's important to have cross-functional meetings to ensure all stakeholders have identified shared goals. Additionally, be sure to create realistic timelines for deliverables and make sure you're holding each other accountable to meet deadlines.

Pay Attention to Your Data and Stay Flexible
  • Keep a close eye on all your paid media — if something isn't working, pivot to a new strategy. If something is working, expand your campaign to extend that success, whether it’s a paid campaign or a timed offer.

Curate Your Offers
  • Buyers can become overwhelmed with options and price comparisons, so limit your selections to between 3 and 5 choices. Focus strictly on offers that meet your campaign goals and target markets.
Use all the Colors in your Sales Palette
  • FEVO's new Laylo partnership gives you a brand-new way to connect with fans utilizing “drops.” Blast a message to your whole fanbase or segment via email, DMs, or text.
