The Best FEVO Offers for St. Paddy’s, April Fools’, Easter and Beyond
Each month, we collect the best performing and most creative offers from across the FEVO universe for your perusal and edification. We’re doing that here today as well, but with a new wrinkle: we’re also including some impressive offers that are attached to important upcoming dates on the sales calendar.
The hope is that these will encourage you to launch some of your own brilliant Offers that celebrate these impending cultural touchstones.
See below for a heavy dose of FEVO inspiration.
St. Patrick’s Day
The shamrock-clad holiday — and in particular its ready-made affiliation with beverage sponsors/partners — can be a great reason to put together some unique offers. For example the New York Rangers have partnered with Conor McGregor’s Irish Whiskey brand Proper No. 12 to give away a pair of themed socks to the first 10k attendees of a matinee game.
Another NY hockey team, the Buffalo Sabres, have an Offer where $45 dollars gets fans a ticket and a hat for the game on March 12th.
And finally, a great example of not needing an actual sporting event to sell tickets: Nashville SC is hosting an event for the Music City Irish Fest with two different tier levels: VIP and General. The event includes authentic Irish musicians, dancers, entertainment from the Gaelic Athletic Football Club, specialty Irish food selections, drinks, vendors and beverage tastings from Tullamore Dew, Bailey’s Irish Cream and Guinness.
Sláinte!
April Fools
While your marketing may be planning some viral pranks for April 1st, the date is also a good excuse to drive ticket sales. Last season the Florida Gators ran a “No Foolin No Fees’” promotion where any tickets purchased for the University’s Baseball series with Missouri were, as the name suggests, completely fee free.
Tax Day
A day of dread for many, but also a day for excitement with lucrative refunds potentially on the horizon. Teams like the Great Lakes Loons, Iowa Cubs and Gwinnett Stripers are getting cheeky with Offers priced at a mere $10.40, as a nod to the common tax form.
Easter
What do most people think of during Easter other than preposterously large and humanoid rabbits? Egg hunts. The Kansas City Royals created an Offer that serves as a great example of how to turn a ticket purchase into a foundational memory, with ticketed youth fans getting early access to Kauffman Stadium for an outfield Easter Egg Hunt. Borrow holiday traditions to create fun experiences for fans!
And some more inspiring Offers live on the FEVO platform right now…
Pro Sports
Toronto Blue Jays
The Canadian MLB franchise created a Hello Kitty Theme Night centered around the hugely popular Japanese character. Purchase of ticket comes with a light-up Hello Kitty bobblehead
Detroit Red Wings
The Motor City NHL team partnered the local streetwear brand SANA to create an Offer that featured a Red Wings x SANA T-shirt. This is a great example of how teams can partner with popular local brands to create buzzworthy events and unique products.
The United Center
The home of the Chicago Bulls and Blackhawks also serves as a concert venue for some of the biggest names that come through town. In this case: Usher. Fresh off a two-year Las Vegas residency and Super Bowl performance, the R&B superstar is taking his show on the road with the Past Present Future tour. United Center is using FEVO to sell Premium Suites online, making it easy for fans to purchase at various tiers and price points anywhere, anytime.
Miami Heat
The South Florida NBA franchise started taking season ticket deposits for the 2024-2025 season, with a deposit of $250 securing a place in line when plans become available. The Heat allowed for fans to place deposits on full-season, half-season and custom plans.
Texas Rangers
The World Series champs created an offer to help celebrate the significant Mexican Diaspora in the Lone Star State. The Rangers are hosting a Mexican Heritage Night in mid-June where a ticket also comes with a championship Mexican heritage jersey inspired by the Mariachi de los Texas Rangers.
College and Minor League
Hudson Valley Renegades
The minor league baseball team based in Upstate New York ran a Leap Day Offer selling tickets for as low as $2.29, advertising it as a deal that “only comes around once every four years!”
Norfolk Admirals
The Virginia-based AHL team sold tickets for a double-header, with an Admirals game in the evening and a charity game in the afternoon. Known as the Guns N Hoses Charity Hockey Game, it is in its 14th iteration and involves a friendly match between the local police and fire departments to raise money for Vigilant Watch, a nonprofit that supports first responders who have encountered physical, mental or financial hardship. A great way to keep people entertained for the whole day.
Kansas City Mavericks
The ECHL team partnered with Bud Light to create a $40 ticket bundle consisting of a ticket to the game and two vouchers for the aforementioned beer. Rally towels are also available while supplies last.
Marquette University
The great thing about college sports is that every year brings with it a sizable new demo of fans: freshmen. The Milwaukee university hosted a 2024 Admitted Students Day that hooks up inbound first-years with tickets to a basketball game as well as a pre-game reception where they can mingle and make new friends that will hopefully carry through to their tenure at the school.
University of Oklahoma
The Sooners Softball team put together an Educators Appreciation Night which gave qualifying educators access to $20 tickets for the Oklahoma vs Baylor game — a steal considering how good the team is.
