An underutilized aspect of the marketing funnel is behind-the-scenes content. According to this article, fans “want to experience events as if they are there in person. They expect the teams, leagues and players they love to produce the same type of immersive content that their favorite influencers and creators are already producing.” Greenfly’s study also found that engagement on behind-the-scenes footage can swing upwards of 900% higher than other forms of content. Mckinsey & Company: The business of sports and the quest for inclusion for women
This survey from the global consulting firm asked 1,700 women about their experience working in sports in North America. There are some eye-opening stats in the survey, including the fact that only 40% of women feel that their organizations are fair and equitable in terms of treatment and opportunity to succeed. The results also point out that women in managerial roles are more often seen as positive influences in the work being done.
